Disobedience As A Psychological And Moral Problem

Fromm believes that their ‘sin’ did not corrupt man, but freed him. From the Hebrew myths, it has been said that Prometheus stole fire from the Gods and that human civilization was also started on an act of disobedience. Fromm does not believe the common saying that obedience is virtue and that disobedience is sin.
